About Jing Medicine

Jing Medicine Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is an innovative biopharmaceutical company, located in ShanghaiTech University, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Jing Medicine was founded in 2017 with the mission of commercializing the scientific achievements of ShanghaiTech University and building a bridge between academic research and clinical practice.

Jing Medicine concentrates on the therapeutic areas including oncology and central nervous system diseases. A broad collaboration has been formed between Jing Medicine and ShanghaiTech University. A number of research programs have achieved significant progress with independent intellectual property rights. Currently, a few of them have obtained clinical trial approval from the FDA and CDE（NMPA）or entered IND-enabling stages. Jing’s key R&D and management team members are composed of senior executives and experienced scientists from the United States and China, with extensive drug discovery and development experience at global biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Jing Medicine is established as a foreign joint venture by seasoned investors with strong background and extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and biotech investment community, which include Shanghai Alliance Investment Ltd. (SAIL), WuXi AppTec (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., ZL China Holding Two (ZAI Lab), Shanghai Cenova Xinghe Venture Capital Center, and Shanghai ZhangJiang Torch Venture Capital Co., Ltd. Jing Medicine will insist of innovation strategy by keeping pursuing early promising targets with novel mechanisms of action (MOA) from collaboration with both ShanghaiTech University and other external academic and industry partners.
